Locals deprived of cash, valuables

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits and thieves Wednesday snatched cash, cellphones and valuables from citizens in fourteen strikes in different areas of Gujranwala.
Two robbers intercepted Shumaila Bibi at Jattanwala bazaar in the Cantonment police area and snatched Rs 280,000 from her.
Three bandits snatched Rs 220,000 from Qaiser at Shahkot in the Cantonment police area.
Gunmen intercepted Umer Farooq and his wife at Chandni chowk in the Model Town police area and snatched Rs 10,000 and gold ornaments.
Two bandits snatched Rs 20,000 and a cellphone from Arif at Mahnu Butt street in the Satellite Town police jurisdiction.
Two robbers snatched a new motorbike from Sohail on Khiali Road in Sabzi Mandi police jurisdiction.
Two gunmen snatched motorcycle No GAK-5792 from Hassan Khan at Bazar Kartalian in the Baghbnapura police area.
