Dacoits continue looting spree

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits looted cash, gold ornaments, cell phones and other valuables in 22 incidents here on Saturday.
Two bandits snatched Rs 7,000 and two cell phones from Iftikhar at Attawa at gun point in Sadar police area. Two dacoits looted Rs 10,000 and a cell phone from Tahir Rasul on Sheikhupura Road in Sabzi Mandi police area. Two bandits snatched Rs 8,000 from Shoaib at gun point at Sharif Farm in Cantonment police area. Two dacoits took away Rs 7,000 and a cell phone from Javed at gun point near Shopping Mall Pace in Dhulley police area. Three bandits snatched a new motorbike from Sufyan at Ferozewala. Three bandits looted cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables from Habib and his wife near Alipur Chattha Rest House. Two bandits stopped Abid and his wife at Nizampura and snatched gold ornaments and other valuables. Two bandits stopped Asghar and his wife at Audhorai village and snatched gold ornaments and Rs 15,000 from them. Two bandits snatched Rs 9,000 and a cell phone from Suleman at gun point at Datewali village. Two bandits snatched Rs 13,000 from Abu Bakar at Chhoti Chinnali village and Rs 9,500 and two mobile phones from Shafqat at Sadhoke. Thieves broke into the shop of Iqbal at Mohallah Qaisran Sodrha and took away valuables. Thieves broke into the shop of Hameed at Zahid Colony in Dhulley police area and decamped with cash and other valuables. Thieves broke into the shop of Kashif at Qila Didar Singh and took away cash and valuables. Dacoits entered the houses of Aftab and Khalid and took away valuables. Stealers took away motorbike of Muzaffar from Amir Centre at Kotwali, bike of Mian Tahir from Jagna, motorbike of Latif from GT Road, motorcycle of Arif from Hafizabad Road, motorbike of Imran from Khguta and motorcycle of Ghulam Nabi from Sodhra.
