HAFIZABAD: Robbers Thursday stabbed an employee of a petrol station for putting up resistance.
Four robbers came to Suggal filling station situated on Alipur road and snatched Rs 100,000 from Munawar Hussain. They stabbed him when he put up resistance.
The injured was shifted to the DHQ hospital in a critical condition.
CALL TO REMOVE PUSHCARTS FROM BAZAARS: Locals Thursday urged the relevant authorities of the district to take action against pushcarts ‘mafia’ and remove pushcarts from the busiest roads and chowks to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Citizens urged the authorities to continue operation against pushcarts and ignore any kind of pressure in this connection.
