OKARA: Police on Saturday arrested a car thief and recovered eight stolen cars from him.
Addressing a press conference here, DPO Faisal Rana said that after rising incidents of car theft in the district, a special team headed by DSP Headquarter Tariq Zafar arrested a car thief, one member of a five-member gang, and on his pointation recovered eight stolen cars including four from the dera of landlord Asadullah Wattoo at Asadullahpur village. The DPO said that Asadullah Wattoo was involved in buying stolen cars and sell them in different areas.
