Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said the country needs a big revolution which can bury the prevailing system based on tyranny and exploitation, and bring the common man at par with the VIPs.
Addressing the JI women wing convention at Mansoora on Saturday, he said the political parties, who had fixed their terms for ruling the country, were only misleading the masses and plundering the public wealth. Sirajul Haq said the JI was fighting the war of common man, it did not want power. Instead, it feels itself answerable to the Almighty Allah and it desires to end the prevailing system of tyranny and exploitation and improve the lot of the common. He said if the masses supported the JI, it would kick out the exploiters and agents of the IMF and the World Bank from the corridors of power and bring the plunderers to accountability. It will recover the ill-gotten wealth from the ruling elite and spend the amount on public welfare projects. The JI chief said the form of politics that increased poverty, ignorance, price hike and unemployment was the satanic politics. Under such political system, the US agents manage to come to power, he added. These people plunder the public money and deposit it into their personal bank accounts abroad. These people are obtaining huge loans from the IMF and the World Bank thereby placing the coming generations under heavy debts, thus pledging the country’s independence and sovereignty to the enemy’s hands. As a result, all our policies are prepared to serve the US interests, he stressed. The leaders, making tall claims of progress and economic development, are depending on the foreign loans and keeping the nation away from the goal of self-reliance, he reminded. He said the common man could not get justice from the courts as the exploiters purchased it at a high price. He said the masses could solve their problems only by getting enforced the Shariah.
