Woman commits, second attempts suicide

KASUR: A woman Friday committed while another attempted suicide in different areas of Kasur.
Yasmeen and her husband, of Zaheerabad Colony, Chunian, used to quarrel with each other over domestic issues. On the day of incident, she exchanged harsh words with her husband and in a fit of rage she consumed pesticide and died.
In the second incident, at Basti Shahdra 25-year-old Saba Bibi drank toxic lotion over a domestic issue and was taken to DHQ hospital in a critical condition.

Vagabond rapes 10-year-old girl

KASUR: A vagabond Friday raped a ten-year-old girl at Haji Gagga locality of Kasur.
(A), student of the third grade was coming from her school when a vagabond took her forcibly to a deserted house and raped and injured her.
When the girl raised a hue and cry, the accused fled. The girl was shifted to DHQ hospital.
