GUJRANWALA: The family of abducted workman Sanaullah, along with the people of Khiali Shahpur, staged a protest demonstration outside the CPO Gujranwala office here Friday against police inaction.
They feared that Sanaullah might have been killed and his body drowned in canal, as the labourer was abducted about two months ago by some influential people. Later, the protesters dispersed peacefully when a senior police officer assured them that the abductee would be recovered and the accused would be punished.
