BAHAWALPUR: The Quality Enhancement Cell of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Friday organised a one-day training workshop on internal quality assurance and self assessment mechanism.
Addressing the workshop, QEC Director Dr Saeed Buzdar said IUB Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaiser Mushtaq believes in quality excellence in academia.
A handbook comprising guidelines for self assessment was also given to participants.
MOU: IUB Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaiser Mushtaq and Centre for Peace and Development Initiative (CPDI) District Youth Councilor Irum Mashkoor signed an MoU at Abbasia Campus the other day to work jointly for educational development and training of the youth.
The VC said the varsity will encourage the organizations providing technical education to young people.
Skill trainer Noshaba Sajjad thanked the Vice Chancellor for patronizing and extending cooperation.
