Man kills sister, her paramour

CHARSADDA: Unidentified gunmen shot dead two persons including a girl student and injured another in the limits of Mandani Police Station on Tuesday, official sources said.
They said that gunmen riding a motorcycle fired at Ikramullah in Mandani bazaar, killing him on the spot. Two girl students identified as Amina Bibi and Ayesha Bibi also sustained bullet injuries in the indiscriminate firing.
The injured were rushed to the DHQ Hospital Charsadda where Amina succumbed to her injuries while condition of the other girl was stated to be stable. Motive behind the killing was stated to be an old enmity.
Following the incident, the dwellers of the area staged a protest rally and observed shutter down. They asked the government to provide security to the people and arrest the killers. The police registered the case and started investigation.
Our correspondent in Nowshera adds: A man shot dead his sister and her alleged paramour in Jehangira area in the limits of Akora Khattak Police Station on Tuesday. Jamroz Khan reported to the police that he was informed that his brother Farhad and a girl were killed and their bodies were lying in the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera.
He added that the girl had eloped with his brother two weeks back and were living in Mardan district. Brother of the deceased, Nawaz Khan, called them to his house on the pretext of contracting their marriage. However, he shot both of them dead, he added. The accused managed to flee the scene.
