SHEIKHUPURA: A landlord in Sheikhupura attempted to scorch a 10 years old minor by throwing him into the burning crops punishing him of mistakenly putting the crops to fire.
Some minors were busy in playing with the fireworks at a wedding ceremony near wheat fields when the crops caught fire. The landlord became enraged over the incident and pushed 10-year-old Faryad into the crops. However, the victim was taken to the hospital in a critical condition where doctors said about 40 percent of boy’s body part has been burnt whereas no action has been taken against the brutal feudal until now.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken a notice of the incident and sought a report from the DPO Sheikhupura. The chief minister ordered the immediate arrest of the accused and said the brutal accused deserved no leniency. He directed the administration to provide best treatment facilities to the burnt child.
