Roots School System Riffat Mushtaq-and CEO Colonel (r) Mushtaque Rasul Chaudhry were presented with the prestigious award ‘ICON- Brands of Rawalpindi Award 2015’ by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The award ceremony was principally attended by the educationalists, businessmen and traders from the Rawalpindi Division besides the officials of local civil administration. RCCI organised the awards to recognise the contributions of individuals and industry from Rawalpindi in different nation building and growth activities. On this occasion, RCCI awarded and acknowledged the organizations/ institutions and business houses who founded their initiatives in the city of Rawalpindi and have now grown successfully at national and international level as centres of excellence and quality.
The award honoured Riffat Mushtaq for exemplary work in education sector. Riffat Mushtaq who spent approximately three decades involved in education, established a 21st century schooling model and consistently empowered the youth of Rawalpindi region. She played a pioneering role in the development of modern education system and took the challenge of introducing innovative teaching methodologies. Roots is the brainchild of Riffat Mushtaq -a great visionary and dynamic educationalist imbued with tremendous compassion for children.
