Former President and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated PPP Punjab President Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo for a mammoth rally in Lahore to observe May Day.
Former Prime Minister and the Secretary General of PPP, Raja Pervez Ashraf also telephoned Manzoor Wattoo to convey his felicitation for bringing out a big rally in Lahore representing working class, trade unions, farmers, minorities, women and workers. He also underscored the importance of enhancing contacts with the party rank and file.
Sherry Rehman, former Minister for Information and Secretary Information of the party, also conveyed her appreciations to the PPP Punjab and its leadership for observing May Day in a befitting manner that essentially demonstrated the appeal of the party among the have-nots.
