DASKA: A 12-year-old boy Friday drowned in a canal in the Motra police limits.
Afzal and his family members were on the way to fields to harvest wheat crop. Afzal fell down in the M R link canal while crossing it and drowned.
VALUABLES SNATCHED: Six robbers snatched cash and valuables from a family on main GT Road in the area of Motra police on Friday.
Rizwan Ahmed Butt was heading to Sialkot with his family, when they reached near MR link bridge they were intercepted by six gunmen, who snatched cash, gold ornaments and a cellphone from them.
YOUTH ELECTROCUTED: A youth was electrocuted in the area of Sadr police on Friday.
Muhammad Saleem was repairing an electricity wire at his home, when he suffered a severe electric shock. He was shifted to hospital where he died.
ILLEGAL ARMS RECOVERED: Circle police Friday arrested eleven accused and recovered illegal weapons and liquor from their possession.
The police arrested the accused from different localities during its routine checking and recovered 10 pistols, bullets and three bottles of liquor from their possession.
