Mass marriage of 60 couples held in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: As many as 60 couples tied the knot at a mass marriage ceremony organised by The University of Faisalabad (TUF) under the auspices of Madinah Foundation at Amin Campus West Canal Road here on Friday.
Chief Guest, Imam Bin Hussain Bin Ali Zainul Abidin, Khadim-e-Roza-e-Rasool, from Madina-tul-Munawara prayed fervently for newly-wed couples.The marriage expenditures of 60 orphan and deserving girls from Faisalabad and surrounding areas were born by Madinah Foundation.
The couples were given dowry and more than 2,000 guests were served lunch. Students of the University participated enthusiastically in the arrangements of the event.Mian Muhammad Hanif, Chairman Board of the Governors, TUF, Mian Muhammad Rasheed, Vice Chairman, Prof Dr Abdul Majeed, Rector, faculty members and students were present on the occasion.
