Retired AIG Legal of Punjab Police Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi died on Wednesday.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered after Namaz-e-Isha at Jamia Masjid Hanfiya, Neelam Block, Allama Iqbal Town. His was 85 and left behind a widow and two daughters. IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera expressed a deep sense of sorrow on his sad demise.
In his condolence message, he prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in peace. Qul Ejaz Ahmad will be held on Thursday (today) after Namaz-e-Asar at Police Club, Lawrence Road.
