FAISALABAD: Renowned researcher and academician Professor Dr Arshad Ali has been appointed new rector of the National Textile University, Faisalabad.
Dr Arshad earned his PhD degree from University of Pittsburgh, USA.
He has over 100 publications to his credit in national and international conferences and journals. He was awarded a gold medal by Pakistan Academy of Sciences and COMSTECH for IT research. He was also awarded the President’s gold medal for the best NUST researcher of the year 2005. Dr Arshad is also a recipient of President’s Pride of Performance in IT research.
