Medical store sealed in Haripur

HARIPUR: Officials of the Health Department on Saturday sealed an unlicenced medical store and registered a case against another in Hattar Industrial Estate.
Drug Inspector Haripur Syed Aqib Ali Shah said that on public complaints, he paid a surprise visit to Hattar Road and sealed Qureshi Hospital for having no valid drug sale licence that is issued from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pharmacy Council. He said the hospital was also lacking trained staff.
Similarly, a case was also registered against the pharmacy of Ghani Glass Hospital upon recovery of expired medicines.
Dozens of other medical stores on Hattar Road were also issued notices for not having qualified staff.
