Ibrahim wins junior tennis title

KARACHI: Ibrahim Iltifat clinched the under-18 singles title in the 2nd PTF National Development Series for juniors at Union Club here on Thursday.
In the final of the category, Ibrahim defeated Eibad Sarwar Hussain 6-3, 6-4. Similarly, the final of under-16 category was won by Hasan Farooq who overpowered Nouman Aftab 6-3, 5-7, 10-0.
The title of under-12 category was won by Farzan Ahmed after thrashing Abdullah Ahmadani 8-1. Earlier, Farzan smashed Ibrahim Noman 8-0 in the semifinal of the category.
Ahmed Ahmadani beat Muhammad Taha Aman 8-4 in the final of under-10 category to clinch the title. The pair of Fahad khan and Ibrahim Iltafat defeated the duo of Eibad Sarwar Hussain and Osama Khan 8-4 in the final of men’s doubles category.
