OKARA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chinese President Xi Jinping deserved praise for joining hands to change the lot of people of Pakistan, said Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad Iqbal, president of Okara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), on Thursday.
Expressing his views at a special meeting of OCCI, he hoped that Pakistan would become an economic hub in the region, if the investment agreement worth billions of dollars were executed, adding that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor would open new land routes both in the west and east of Pakistan. Arshad said foreign industrial tycoons should be invited to establish industries in Balochistan.
