MULTAN: Ex-MNA Rana Mehmoodul Hassan Wednesday welcomed the project of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (PCEC) and said it would result in radical financial changes in the country.
Addressing a press conference at Multan Press Club, he said Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif would establish Nishtar Medical University, Information and Technology University and Veterinary Sciences University in Multan.
Rana said the PML-N is keenly pursuing development projects in Multan and South Punjab as a priority.
He said Pak-China accords would open new job opportunities across the country and linking the corridor project with Multan, Faisalabad would bring economic revolution in the remote regions.
RALLY FOR PAK-CHINA FRIENDSHIP: Hundreds of PML-N activists organized a rally to celebrate the Pak-China friendship.
The participants were carrying portraits of the Chinese President and Mian Nawaz Sharif and raising slogans in favour of Pak-China friendship.
They freed pigeons and distributed sweets among the children on the occasion.
Former MNA Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Bilal Butt, President of PML-N Multan district, Rana Shahid-ul-Hassan City President, Shabbir Tahir, MPA, Omar Farooq Bhatti, Bilawal Youaf Bhutta and others led the rally.

MULTAN: The City District Government Wednesday organized a walk in connection with Earth Day.
The participants pledged working jointly against global warming. The walk was organized at chowk Kutchery and it was led by Multan DCO Zahid Salim Gondal.
Additional District Collector Manzar Ali Javed and District Officer Environment Zafar Iqbal also spoke on the occasion.
