‘Security forces alert to counter terrorists’

BHAKKAR: Security forces are alert to meet any emergency situation and counter terrorists.
It was said by DCO Muhammad Zaman Wattoo and DPO Agha Muhammad Yousuf while leading a flag march held to create a sense of protection among the masses here on Wednesday.
The flag march started from the Police Lines and after passing though various roads culminated again at the Police Lines. The DCO said that search operations would continue against criminals to avoid any untoward incident. He said that the police were doing its best to maintain peace in the district. He asked the people to cooperate with the district administration to counter anti-social activities.
APPOINTED: Bhakkar Additional District Collector Altaf Hussain Sario has been transferred to Bahawalpur as the Local Government director.
The Punjab government has appointed Tauseef Dilshad as the new additional district collector in Bhakkar.
