Sohna sets up camp against TMA administrator today

OKARA: PPP district president and ex-MPA Ashraf Khan Sohna has announced to establish a protest camp at Gole Chowk on April 22 (today) against TMA Administrator/ADC Sheikh Fareed Ahmad.
Sohna and the TMA administrator had exchanged hot words on the issue of removal of stalls and cabins of poor people from the GT Road in a function. Later, on the order of their boss, the TMA staff had thrown garbage near the residence of Sohna and in front of his petrol pump on Monday. On Tuesday, the ex-MPA demanded suspension or at least immediate transfer of the TMA administrator from Okara. On the other hand, TMA Administrator Fareed Ahmad and Shakeel Masih filed applications against Ashraf Khan Sohna for allegedly insulting and using abusing language against the TMA administrator. It is pertinent to mention here that the TMA staff did not remove garbage on the pretext that the TMA staff was on strike in favour of their head till noon. Later, the City Market Committee staff started cleaning the garbage.
