KASUR: Locals were tortured and deprived of cash and valuables in different areas of Kasur.
In village Koray Sial of Allaabad area robbers barged into house of Muhammad Aslam and took the whole family hostage and snatched Rs 3 lakh, 5 tola gold ornaments, garments and other items. They also tortured the family members.
Robbers created hurdles on Husain Khan Wala road and snatched Rs 45,000 and a mobile phone from Liquat Ali, of Bagga village. The robbers also tortured him, leaving him injured critically. He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital in a serious condition.
Gunmen snatched Rs 730,000 from a cashier of a filling station on Pattoki road near Habibabad.
