2 murder convicts to be hanged today

SIALKOT: Two murder convicts will be hanged at the District Jail Sialkot on Tuesday (today).
Luqman, s/o Muhammad Ali, and Muhammad Saleem, s/o Manzoor Ahmed, both residents of Alavalpur village, Tehsil Pasrur, had gang-raped a girl in their village in 1999. Later, an anti-terrorism court of Gujranwala had awarded them death sentence. Both murder convicts met their relatives on Monday. It is pertinent to mention here that two other rapists, Abid Maqsood, s/o Muhammad Shafi, and Sanaullah, s/o Muhammad Sharif, both residents of Begowala village, Tehsil Sambrial, would be hanged tomorrow (Wednesday) for gang-raping a girl in their village in 1997.
