Rawalpindi: Gilgit-Baltistan Cultural Show was organised under the auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council in which artistes gave a wonderful performance.
They exhibited their skills in the jam-packed auditorium of the RAC. The artistes presented songs, sword dance, tableax and regional ‘Hareep’.
The artistes included Talib Hussain, Sher Khan Nagari, Naveed ul Rehman, Khadim Balti, Mubarak Ali, Shahid Nadeem, Shahid Tamana, Shams ud Din, Zahid Kareem and Hamid Kareem. Gilgit-Baltistan former finance minister Muhammad Ali Akhtar and Bashir Ahmed were guests of honour. The organisers of the Gilgit-Baltistan Show thanked Rawalpindi Arts Council for extending full cooperation. RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed was also present on the occasion.
