BAHAWALPUR: Dozens of people of Goth Raza staged a demonstration against Ahmadpur Sadr police for allegedly pressurising them to reconcile with the killers of their two relatives.
They staged a demonstration against Ahmadpur Sadr SHO Muhammad Iqbal Kharal and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Akmal outside the RPO Office. They said that their two relatives were murdered last year. They alleged that police had arrested the complainant to pressurise them for reconciliation.
Meanwhile, RPO Ahsan Sadiq called the protesters in his office and held talks with them. He ordered the SP Investigation to conduct an inquiry.
MAN KILLS STEPMOTHER: A man killed his stepmother over a domestic dispute at Chak 12/BC. Zeeshan Masih allegedly murdered his stepmother Kaneez and threw her body in AP Canal. Baghdadul Jadeed police have arrested the accused.
