Concern over use of LPG cylinders in public vehicles

BHAKKAR: People have shown concern over use of LPG cylinders in public vehicles in the district.
Talking here on Tuesday, the people said that transporters were using LPG cylinders in their coaches and other transport, which was dangerous and may cause an accident. The people said that several accidents had been reported due to use of LPG cylinders in public transport. The people demanded the government and the authorities concerned take notice of the matter.
CHECKING OF GOVT OFFICES: On the order of DCO Muhammad Zaman Wattoo, the Offices Inspection Team has started surprise checking of attendance of government employees and cleanliness situation in the government offices.
EDO Finance & Planning Muhammad Shahbaz Hussain is leading the team while DO Finance & Budget Muhammad Akram is its member. The team has been assigned to check various offices on daily basis and submit performance report to the DCO. Meanwhile, the Punjab government has directed the all DCOs to ensure foolproof security in their respective districts to avoid any untoward incident.
PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICE ESTABLISHED: The Public Information Office has been established at the DPO Office under the Transparency and Right to Information Act.
Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi has been appointed as the Public Information Officer. The people are asked to contact at phone number 0453-9200368 and cell number 03336843197 regarding any information about police.
