Dacoit gang busted

OKARA: Police have arrested three members of Umari Gahu gang and recovered booty worth Rs 2 million and weapons from them.
It was said by DPO Faisal Rana while addressing a press conference here on Friday. The DPO told that the police raided and arrested three gang members of Umari Gahu gang including its ring leader Umar Hayat of Sheikhu Mor and his accomplices Muhammad Ayub alias Ayubi of 30/GD village and Javed of Sheikhu Mor. The police also recovered cattle, stolen bikes and other valuables from them besides recovering illicit arms from them, he added. The DPO said that the gangsters had sold several bikes after snatching at Gujranwala, Lahore and Multan. Gogera police had registered a case against the gangsters, the DPO added.
