OKARA: On a court order, Ravi police have booked a man along with his first wife for killing his second wife.
In a petition, Aslam said that Yousaf of Tibbi Padhyar had contracted second marriage with his daughter Zahida. He said that Aslam with his first wife had allegedly poisoned his second wife to death for giving birth to a baby girl on March 22.
BOOKED: Haveli police on Thursday registered a case against Imran, who tried to rob a bank, posing as Taliban leader.
On Wednesday, the robber parked his car outside a bank branch and entered the premises. Introducing himself to the manager as a Taliban leader, he claimed having a bomb and demanded handing over cash by threatening to detonate the explosives. On information, police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused. Police also recovered two pistols and bullets from him.
