Chakwal Chamber of Commerce, Industry president gets Romania govt award

CHAKWAL: A five-day industrial exhibition arranged by Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the collaboration of the district government of Chakwal started on Wednesday.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by former federal minster Lt-Gen (retd) Abdul Majeed Malik and Romanian Ambassador Eliman was the chief guest.
Chaudhry Sultan Haider, Abdul Razzaq Jami, MPAs Sardar Zulfiqar Dullaha, Mevish Sultana, Malik Aslam Seethi, Chaudhry Shehzad Saadat and Zafar Bakhtawari, ex president Islamabad chamber of commerce spoke on the occasion.
The welcome address was presented by President Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Qazi Mohammad Akbar, who was confident that the industrial zone announced by PM Nawaz Sharif on motorway would be established at newly approved Neela interchange.
Eliman said there was a good scope of investment between Pakistan and Romania and was confident that mutual business transaction would be strengthened in near future.
An award from the Romania government was also presented by Eliman to Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Qazi Mohammad Akbar for his services rendered in industrial and social sector.
The exhibition will continue until April 12th.
DCO Mehmood Jawaid Bhatti, DPO Dr Moeen Masood, AC Chakwal Musawar Khan Niazi, District Monitoring Officer Asif Iqbal Chohan were also present.
