Speaking of the new establishment’s features, he said once a member starts speaking at the microphone his name and full profile will appear on a screen in front of the speaker. “The Sindh assembly is the first in the country to have this facility,” he said.
Durrani said the new assembly will have a capacity of 300 members. “It will have a car parking facility of 300 cars and parking would be reserved in the name of the members,” he added.
The building, the speaker maintained, will have foolproof security arrangements and members will be provided extensive protection.
He said the building would also have a governor’s gallery, diplomats’ gallery and officers’ gallery, besides a traditional visitor’s gallery. “The media gallery will have state-of-the-art facilities and an exclusive cafeteria.”
