HAFIZABAD: On the order of the Lahore High Court, Sukheke police on Saturday registered a case under sections 302/364 against Khanqah Dogran police SHO Rab Nawaz and 17 others on the charge of allegedly kidnapping and killing Riasat Ali of Nawan Manike village in June 2013.
Razia Bibi, widow of Riasat, had filed a writ petition in the LHC in which she stated that the accused cops including SI Riaz, Irshad, Muhammad Nawaz and fourteen others abducted her husband Riasat Ali from his house in June 2013 and later allegedly killed him. She said that the police were not registering a case against the accused policemen.
