MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Punjab Rangers Director General Maj-Gen Tahir Javed Khan has called upon the jawans to make all-out efforts to combat all challenges at the eastern border of the country.
He said Pakistan is facing multidimensional challenges currently and the role of armed forces has increased manifold.
Terrorism and extremism have created innumerable problems for the country and our forces are dealing with all such problems, he said and added that terrorists, despite being small in number, have disturbed the entire society. He said the role of Punjab Rangers have also increased manifold.
Blasts and suicide attacks are a plot against the integrity of the country and we should always keep this challenge in our mind, the DG stressed.
He urged jawans to get ready for the use of latest technology and latest weapons.
Earlier, Commandant Rangers Academy Colonel Nadeem Aslam welcomed the guest in his welcoming address.
