12 teachers hurt in Mingora accident

MINGORA: Thirteen persons, including 12 schoolteachers, sustained injuries when a Suzuki van plunged into a gorge in Madyan area of Swat district, police said on Saturday.They said that the schoolteachers of four different schools were returning home after performing duty in a Suzuki van. They said that the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle fell into a ravine in Dabagai Banda area.
The injured schoolteachers included Samina Naz, Rafiullah, Haider Ali, Sajjad, Habibullah, Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Iqbal, Abdul Aleem, Rahmat Saeed, Muhammad Rahim, Muhammad Nabi, Manzoor Kamal and driver Nisar.
The injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital in Madyan and were discharged after providing treatment.
