SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday said the government would implement its economic-development agenda after taking the business community into confidence.
Addressing the oath-taking ceremony of Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Narowal, he said the government had successfully put the national economy back on path of development.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government was aware of the long-standing problems of the business community and making all-out efforts for their resolution. It was taking steps to boost industry by rehabilitation of infrastructure and overcoming the energy crisis. The federal minister administrated oath to the newly-elected office bearers of Markazi Anjuman Tajiraan Narowal. President Markazi Anjuman Tajiraan Narowal Muzammal Hafeez Babar, General Secretary Dr Abdul Haq and patron-in-chief Allama Muhammad Tabassum Bashir Awaisi also spoke on the occasion.
