Cash, ornaments snatched

DASKA: Robbers Saturday snatched cash and valuables from houses of two men.
Four robbers barged into house of Abdul Majeed and held his family members hostage. They snatched cash, mobile phones, gold ornaments and other valuables in the Motra police limits.
The dacoits also entered outhouse of Anwar and took stole his tractor trolley.
FATHER, DAUGHTER THRASHED: Three accused thrashed and injured a man and his daughter over a petty issue in the area of Sadar police limits.
Muhammad Ali and his daughter were sitting at their outhouse, when accused Zahid, Sarwar and their accomplice arrived and started beating them with sticks, leaving them injured. They were shifted to civil hospital.
WOMAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A married woman tried to commit suicide in the city area. The woman quarreled with her family members and took poisonous pills. She was taken to civil hospital when her health deteriorated.
