DHA Club annex basketball title
LAHORE: DHA Club defeated Don Bosco 58-48 to win the Don Bosco Summer Camp Basketball Tournament here at the Don Bosco School. Adnan and Ahmed Bhatti were the star players of the winning side as they scored 16 and 15 points respectively.
From Don Bosco, Adeel Raza and Malik Shan secured 17 and 10 points respectively but their heroics couldn’t save their team from facing final defeat. M Naveed, Khurram Khan and Yasir Ali supervised the final. The final saw Don Bosco’s dominance in the first two quarters as they were enjoying full support of home crowd.
At the end chief guest Mehmood Butt distributed prizes among the winners. Also present on the occasion were Pakistan Basketball Federation Secretary Khalid Bashir and Associate Secretary Syed Modood Jaffery. A Pakistan Basketball Federation official on the occasion announced to hold Ramazan Basketball Tournament from Ramazan 10.
