HAFIZABAD: As many as 16 women were injured in an accident near Chowki Sukheke on Friday.
A wagon was carrying women employees to Bahoo Maan village when it collided with a bus. As a result, 16 women were injured and shifted to the THQ Hospital Pindi Bhattian.
CASH, VALUABLES SNATCHED: Two dacoity incidents were reported here on Friday.
Talib Hussain was on his way by a motorbike when two dacoits intercepted him near Kolo Tarar and looted Rs 3,000 and a cell phone from him. In another incident, Hayat Ali was on his way by a motorbike when three dacoits stopped him near Shori Manika village and snatched his motorbike and cash.
NOMINATED: PPP Punjab president Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has nominated Malik Shaukat Hayat Awan as the SVP of Hafizabad district. A notification has been issued in this regard.
