China to invest Rs37b in Gwadar: Sanjrani
ISLAMABAD: Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said Tuesday Chinese Companies would invest to the tune of Rs37 billion in Gwadar and industrialisation in the area would commence in a six month time.
The acting president expressed these views during his visit to Gwadar on Tuesday. He said that progress and prosperity of both Pakistan and China was directly linked to development of the Gwadar and CPEC.
While inaugurating water treatment plant in Gwadar he said that the federal government was taking concrete measures for resolving the issues of the local community.
He said that the water treatment plant would provide 2 hundred thousand gallons of clean water to the people of the area and said that Chinese company was collaborating to enhance its capacity upto three million gallons per day.
