Cop among two shot dead in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified gunmen shot dead two persons, including a policeman, in old Sabzi Mandi, police sources said on Monday.They said that a policeman identified as Muhammad Arshad was on way home after performing duty when gunmen opened fire at him in old Sabzi Mandi. A vegetable vendor was also hit by a bullet and died on the spot. Muhammad Arshad was wireless operator at the City Police Station. He left behind a widow, a seven year-old physically challenged son and two daughters.
