ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah Monday said that the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should take Parliament into confidence about the decisions of the National Security Committee (NSC).
“Once the prime minister took Parliament into confidence about the decisions of the National Security Committee, we will decide what to do next,” he said while talking to newsmen here Monday at his chamber in the Parliament House.
The Opposition said these things came into Parliament for discussion as though the current Parliament have a little time left yet these things should be discussed in the Parliament The opposition leader said that those who remain in significant positions should use the words carefully as each stated words have different meanings and be interpreted differently. The Opposition leader said he was also invited to the National Security Committee meeting but decided not to attend it. “I am an opposition leader while Nawaz Sharif belongs to the present government therefore the government should decide what should be done on the issue,” he said.
