HAFIZABAD: Cash and valuables were taken away in three incidents here.
In the first incident, Imtiaz Ahmad and Fayyaz Ahmad, employees of a petrol pump, were going to the city for depositing Rs 203,000 in a bank when three dacoits snatched the amount from them near Nadra Office. In the second incident, thieves entered the shop of Muhammad Imran at Winni village and stole 135 mobile phones and Rs 55,000. In the third incident, thieves stole 60 sacks of rice from the godown of Muhammad Irshad near Old Civil Hospital. Police are investigating.
ISTEHKAM-E-PAKISTAN RALLY: The Jamaat-e-Suffa Pakistan took out an Istehkam-e-Pakistan rally here on Thursday. The rally was taken out from Dargah Khateebul Islam. Peer Syed Waseemul Hassan Naqvi, Allama Rana Muhammad Asghar Chishti, Allama Faisal Nadeem, Syed Usman Naqvi and Maulana Ahmad Saeed led the rally.
