DASKA: Three people thrashed and injured a woman in the area of sadar police on Thursday.
Farzana Bibi was alone at her home when Imran and his two accomplices entered the house and thrashed and beat her with sticks. She was shifted to hospital.
FAKE CHEQUE CASE: The City police Thursday registered a fake cheque case.
Abdul Wasa told police that his wife and his father-in-law borrowed Rs 2,100,000 from him when he demanded the amount they gave him a cheque which was bounced when it was taken to a bank.
