Top 4 enter main round of Pak Squash Circuit
ISLAMABAD: Leading four players have made it to the main round of Pakistan Circuit I Squash event following victories at the Mushaf Ali Mir complex Wednesday.
In the $10,000 event Zahir Shah got better of Bilal Zakir 11-13, 14-12, 11-4, 11-3 to check into the main round.In another interesting match of the day, Harris Iqbal edged out Mohammad Farhan 4-10, 10-12, 11-6, 11-3, 11-5. Danish Atlas Khan had it easy against Noman Khan 11-6, 11-4, 11-8 while Manzoor Zaman achieved victory against Iqtidar Khan 11-8 (rtd).
The main round of both men and women Circuit I main round would get under way from Thursday with some exciting matches on cards. Former Asian Junior champion Syed Ali Bokhari is to play against Farhan Mehboob, Wild card entry Abbas Zaib is pitted against top seed Farhan Zaman.In ladies event, top-seed Noorena Shams will be seen playing against Noorul Ain in the first round while second seed Anum Mustafa will be playing against Amna Fayyaz.
