Vibrant youth is our real defence: COAS
ISLAMABAD: A group of students from different public schools managed by the Zindagi Trust, an organisation striving to make holistic, quality education accessible to average Pakistani child, met the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.
Pakistan is blessed with the most talented and vibrant youth, which is our real defence, the army chief said. He encouraged the youth to abreast themselves with the latest developments in science, information technology and new disciplines to compete at international level.
These students apart from education have excelled in different sporting fields, including cricket, football and chess, a statement issued here by the Inter-Services Public Relations said. As a goodwill gesture, the COAS also played a chess game with a girl student.
