Multan strongly placed in QAT G-II final
ISLAMABAD: Veteran Zulfiqar Babar (5-50) and all-rounder Aamir Yamin (3-33) ran through Karachi Blues batting line-up to give Multan early advantage in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy (QAT) Grade II final at Multan Stadium Tuesday.
After bowling out Karachi Blues for 154, Multan reached 71 for 2 at close of play on the opening day. For Karachi Ashiq Ali (47) and Muhammad Asghar (33) played well. Waqar Hussain (32 not out) then batted well for Multan to take them to strong position at the close of play. Multan further need 84 runs with eight wickets in hand to take first innings lead.
