Niazi, Zardari gave their people nothing but miseries: Shahbaz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said (Imran Khan) Naizi and (Asif Ali) Zardari have given their people nothing but despair and miseries. “If Allah Almighty gave us an opportunity, we will set records of development in Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP),” he vowed. During a meeting with Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir, he said the PML-N had selflessly served the public day and night for the last five years. He hoped that intelligent voters would once again vote for the PML-N in the upcoming polls.
Overcoming energy crisis and terrorism was a credit of the PML-N government, and the development projects carried out by it would be written in golden letters in the history of the country.
The CM said development projects were being completed in the province at a fast pace, which has no precedent in the history of the country.
The federal minister said Shahbaz Sharif was such a leader which was a pride for Pakistan. He had implemented the vision of uniform development in the province. He said that only the PML-N could sustain the steadiness of development in country.
Various issues including political matters and overall situation were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif announced financial assistance for the families of those who were shot dead by terrorists in Kharan area of Balochistan.
He said the Punjab government would provide the bereaved families with 10 lakh each.
Those killed in Balochistan hailed from Okara and adjoining areas.
Also, talking to delegations of different elected members, Shahbaz said people should vote the PML-N for continuity of development projects as Naizi and Zardari had only chanted hallow slogans during the past five years.
The CM said the health culture was changing in Punjab as now tests of government hospital are standard and done instantly. Quality medicines are made available there. He said that pathology labs are being set up at 26 DHQs under subjective system which will provide facility of more than 43 free medical tests whose fee will be paid by the Punjab government.
The CM said that renowned company of Japan, HITACHI, with its personal system will provide facility of CT Scan Test at District Hospitals where 24 hours CT Scan services will be made available for patients.
