Mujahid Group wins Faisalabad hockey polls
ISLAMABAD: Rana Mujahid Group wins Faisalabad District hockey elections with Shahid Tanvir Gill being elected as President.
Nadeem Ahmad Khan was voted as secretary Faisalabad hockey. Other officials elected to different offices are Shahzad Ahmad, Rana Mohammad Imran (vice presidents. Ghulam Murtaza (Joint Secretary), Rana Sajid (treasurer). Olympians Rana Mujahid and Malik Shafqat were given the rights to represent Faisalabad at Punjab Hockey and Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) forums. Meanwhile, controversy erupts in Sahiwal election when Olympian Danish Kaleem blamed opponents for conducting one-sided elections without the knowledge of majority of district clubs. Danish Kaleem has written a letter to PHF chief election blaming opponents for conducting Sahiwal elections without the knowledge of majority of clubs.
