Two killed, 14 injured as suicide bomber hits bus in Attock
ATTOCK: Two persons were killed and fourteen others injured in a suicide attack near Dhoke Ghama area of Attock district on Thursday evening.
As per details, a bus of a government institution was on its way to Attock when it reached near Dhok Gama, it was hit by a suicide attacker.
As a result, driver Muhammad Akram Niazi and a pedestrian Habib Khan died on the spot while 14 others on board the bus suffered multiple injuries.
The injured included Gul Zareen, Bagh Zareen, Hanif Khan, Muhammad Saeed, Nazakat, Shoaib, Obaid, Ehsan Ali, Hussain, Iftikhar, Hussain and three pedestrians Muqrab Bibi, Musarat Bibi and a minor Minahil.
According to the In charge of Rescue 1122 Dr Ashfaq, the dead and injured had been shifted to DHQ Hospital Attock where condition of the injured is stated to be out of danger. The law enforcement agencies rushed to the blast site and cordoned off the area.
