SNGPL plans Int’l Squash event in June
LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) is seeking support from the Pakistan Squash Federation and the Punjab association to hold SNGPL Pakistan International Squash Championship in Lahore.
To be held at Punjab Squash Complex Lahore the championship has been planned for June 25 to 30. This would be the first international squash event planned to be held here after two years. SNGPL will be the sponsor of this US $ 10,000 prize money event.
According to information provided by General Secretary SNGPL Sports cell that SNGPL will organise this tournament on very high note. “We have started the arrangements. Thanks PSA that has allowed us organising this international event in Lahore.”
Under PSF and with cooperation of PSA, the event will provide opportunities to all Pakistani players to improve their international rankings. According to Nadeem Ashraf, this international event has doors open for international players and will also pave the way for organizing more such events here. Chief guest will be MD SNGPL Amjad Latif. The final of this event will be held on June 30. All Top Pakistani Players will participate in this international event.
